The Beginning
Thehouseful was born from a deep love for Italy, its traditions, and its way of life. Inspired by La Dolce Vita — the sweet life — we set out to create a marketplace that celebrated the timeless artistry of Italian ceramics. Our vision was to connect discerning customers with master artisans, bringing authentic Mediterranean style to homes around the world.

In the year to follow, we strengthened our focus on craftsmanship and quality. By working closely with small, family-run workshops across Italy, we expanded our collection with pieces that represented the very best of Italian tradition. Every product was carefully selected, reflecting not only beauty but also durability, functionality, and authenticity — values that continue to define us today.

The Birth of La Signora
2022 marked a turning point. We decided to close the marketplace and focus exclusively on La Signora, our in-house brand. Produced in Vietri sul Mare on the Amalfi Coast — the historic home of Italian ceramics — La Signora became the expression of our identity: high-quality, fully customisable collections designed with passion and made by master artisans.
From homes to restaurants.
Laying the Wholesale Foundations
As demand grew, we expanded our production to cater to larger projects and the hospitality sector. For the first time, our ceramics graced restaurant tables, boutique hotels, and bespoke design projects. This marked our transition from retail to wholesale, building a reputation as a trusted partner for businesses seeking authentic Italian tableware at scale.

Expansion in Tuscany
While Vietri sul Mare remained our beating heart, we expanded production into Tuscany, blending two of Italy’s most renowned ceramic traditions. With this growth, we were able to serve a wider audience and support projects on a global scale. From Dubai to Saudi Arabia, India to the UK, and across the UAE and Qatar, our ceramics began to tell the story of Italian craftsmanship in some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants and venues.
